Greg Koch Live

Last night All Pro Sound brought in renowned and Fender sponsored guitarist Greg Koch.  He came in to demo the new Fender G-DEC 30 Watt Amplifier, the American Special Series Telecaster and Stratocaster Guitars, and the new Fender Passport 500 watt system.

Greg did an awesome job of mixing demonstration of the products and technical guitar prowess, with some comedic relief about his dinner establishment, the Whistling Squirrel.  He showed the software system FUSE that comes with the G-DEC Amp.  You can digitally make the amp sound like a vast number of amps across both the Fender universe and other well known cabinets.  You can lay in effects processors both pre and post amp with this software.  But all the technical things aside, Greg could flat play the guitar.

At the end of the evening, we had a drawing for an American Special Telecaster.  Greg pulled a few names of people who were not there, (Tom Curley, Sandra Dering, and David Tucker, you could have been a winner), and then he drew the name of one Jeff Craven from Pensacola.  Jeff is the lead guitarist for the Beulah Land South Band, (www.beulahlandsouthband.com), and he was very excited.  Check out some pictures of the evening.

Olympic Seal Contest Winner

We are very excited to announce the winner of our Olympic Seal Contest.  To enter this contest, people combed our website to find the Olympic Seal buried in our website, www.allprosound.com.  It was not easy, and not for the faint of heart.  Around 180 internet warriors found the seal.

So yesterday, All Pro Sound's Lewis Garvin picked the winner.  We put all of the names into a bucket, and drew one name.  Check out this video to watch the whole process.

So Congratulations Heather Slane.  This is a beautiful guitar.  We hope you give it a nice home.
