myMix 16 Input Box

The IEX-16L allows you to easily integrate myMix into your existing equipment with 16 line-level analog inputs via two DB25 connectors.

Simple configuration:
Configure channel names on the IEX-16L with a myMix through the front panel CONFIG port, or from a myMix anywhere on the network. Channel names are stored on the IEX-16L.

Flexible gain-setting options:
The IEX-16L is set up to accept signals from professional consoles that tend to have healthy output levels. If you run into a situation where there is not enough gain from your console, there is an option within the IEX-16L software that allows you to select +6dB and +12dB digital gain per channel.

Integrating the IEX-16L into an existing sound system:
Place the IEX-16L at the Front Of House position and take direct and/or submixed outputs from the board into the IEX-16L to be injected onto the myMix network. Run a single Cat5 cable to an Ethernet switch on stage, plug your myMix units into the same switch, and you have an intuitive personal monitoring system that also allows each musician to go home with a multi-track recording + stereo mix on SD card.

Using the IEX-16L as a stand-alone mobile recording/rehearsal rig:
Would you rather use your arsenal of high-end super expensive microphone preamps as the front end to your myMix system? You can with the IEX-16L. Simply run your instrument and microphone signals directly into your microphone preamps, hook up the outputs of the preamps to the IEX-16L, and you have a simple, yet powerful mobile 24bit, 48kHz recording rig with the added benefit of each musician being able to control their own mix. Cut basic tracks anywhere you want and import the files into the recording software of your choice for overdubs and mixing. Again, each musician can go home with a multi-track recording + stereo mix of the session so you don’t have to waste time burning multiple discs for the band at the end!

OK, sounds great, but when will it be available?
Demo IEX-16L units will be going out to global distributors and US reps within the next two weeks. Production starts in November.

Phase 1 Complete at the Superdome

All Pro Sound recently completed phase 1 of audio/video renovations at the New Orleans Superdome.  The systems included 700 level (7th floor) Press/Media and Coaches booth distributed audio and video, 300 level  (3rd floor) Club level suites distributed audio and modulated television system, 300 level House control Booth, Instant Replay Booth, National Broadcast Booth and Broadcast camera booths camera, audio and intercom cabling, Ground level Saints Locker Room distributed audio and modulated televisions, and Media Room Audio and video system. The majority of the work done  by our guys is behind the scenes wiring that no one sees, but yet everyone sees. Some of this cabling is responsible for carrying audio and video signals from the Broadcast video cameras to the trucks that broadcast those feeds Nationwide and even Worldwide. Everyone from NBC, CBS, FOX, ESPN, and NFL Network interface their equipment directly with the infrastructure installed by All Pro Sound to make broadcasting New Orleans Saints home games a reality.

One of the systems installed by All Pro Sound in the New Orleans Superdome is the Media Room Audio/Video system. The Media Room is used by the New Orleans Saints to conduct team meetings, review game plays during halftime and to host post-game interviews for the Saints Coaching staff and Players. Yet again, everyone from NBC, CBS, FOX, ESPN, and NFL Network interface to get audio for the national broadcast of the post game interviews.  Below is a link from the 9/9/10 New Orleans Saints home game post-game press conference that was shot by the NFL Network with an audio feed taken directly out of our system into their camera.  It may not seem like much, but now when you see the New Orleans Saints on TV you see and hear work done by All Pro Sound.

We had a crew of guys that lived out there the entire NFL off-season that made this job a reality in the short time frame that was allotted to complete this project, working long hours every day and even on their weekends.  I personally want to make everyone aware of the work that was done by the guys involved, that took ownership of the project and went above and beyond to make this happen.  I want to personally thank them all for their hard work on this project.

Thank You All,

WOW 90.9 Radio Benefit Concert

All Pro Sound is a proud supporter of WOW 90.9 Radio.  They provide family friendly, Christian radio to our area here in Pensacola.

Recently, their broadcast antenna was struck by lightning, causing $15,000 worth of damage.  They now need to replace the 3" cabling that runs from the transmitter to the antenna on the tower.  Being a non-profit, dependent on financial gifts and donations, they need to try to raise the money to fix the antenna.

On Thursday, October 28th, WOW 90.9 will "host" a special concert to benefit the station.  The bands performing will be Sanctus Real (currently with the #1 Christian AC song in the country with Lead Me), Leeland and The Afters.  Also the proceeds from the concert will go to help us repair the broadcast signal of the station.

Tickets are on sale now.  They have a limited number of Artist Circle tickets at $25.00 each (only 100 or so left) and General Admission ones are $18.00, Groups of 10 or more $15.00.  If you want to order tickets, please call Sandie Riddick on the concert line at 1-877-969-3050 to place an order.
